Garmin Fenix 5 PLUS : how to turn off bluetooth?

The manual says I should be able to turn off bluetooth on the 5 PLUS from the light button control menu. But there is no such icon there.

I trawled all through the settings and couldn't find it. Can someone advise please.

There is an option to disconnect from phone. But that's not the same thing.

AFAIK, the phone disconnect/connect control on the long-press light button screen is as close as you're going to get to turning off the BT radio on a fenix watch. You can get the same functionality from Settings > Phone > Status. There are no other settings that I know of. And I can't think of any way to tell for sure that BT is actually off. Device does show as disconnected from my phone, but I use iOS so YMMV on Android.
