I use a Garmin Descent G1. When I connect to the Dive app, the dives that I deleted from my dive computer don’t upload to the Dive app, which was of course the purpose.
Yet, the automatic dive numbering in the app seems to take the deleted dives into account.
My last dive in the Dive app’s logbook was nr. 48. Yesterday I did 3 jumps in the swimming pool (recorded as dives on my dive computer) and 1 real dive. I removed the 3 fake dives from my dive computer and then connected to the Dive app. Only the real dive got uploaded but got dive nr. 52 and not nr. 49. So I had to edit this dive nr. and I will have to repeat this for all next dives because my 2 today’s dives got nr. 53 and 54, although I edited my last logged dive to nr. 49.
How to force the app to give new dive logs the number of the last logged dive + 1?
