It's not possible to add YouTube Video links in the Garmin ios App

After adding a link in the ios app, an error message pops up saying the link format is not supported.
Im adding a youtube link and have tried both long links and shortened links. both do not work.

They do work fine though when adding them on the web interface. So eems to be an issue with the ios app.

Also, when viewing the video in the ios app, it shows a thumbnail of the video and a play button on top. But clicking the play button does nothing. It is not possible to play inside the app. You need to click at the bottom to open the youtube app first. Is this correct behavior or a bug? I'm on ios 15.02 and iphone 12 pro.
