GPX File Sharing is not Supported

When I try to load a GPX file from my Android phone to my Drivesmart 65 Traffic, I get an error message stating:

GPX File Sharting is not Supported

None of your paired devices support GPX file sharing.

Searching Help and Google states this functionality is supported for Android devices with Drivesmart 65 Traffic.

Any guidance?

Thanks.

  • I think you're in the wrong forum, this is for the Garmin Dive app.

  • I have the same problem. I like to download Dives and load them into Strava.
One can do that in Windows, but I have not managed to do it in Android.
From the Garmin Dive app, I can only download a FIT file, which I cannot upload to Strava in Android (only in Windows)
Best would of course be if the interface between Garmin and Strava worked, but I think that is due to Strava not having Diving as an activity category, i.e. cannot be done by Garmin in isolation

  • One can do that in Windows, but I have not managed to do it in Android.

Garmin Connect Web as well as Strava Web work in a browser on any Android phone too, so you do not need Windows for that.

  • That is a good idea! I was so far relying on the Strava app opening automatically! Thank you very much for the hint !
