Is there a way to combine/ join a dive that was split due to surfacing?

We were diving Blue heron bridge which is only like 10-15 ft deep and we came up a couple times to talk and go back down. Now I have three or four dives all split up. There's an option to duplicate a dive. I don't know what the point of that is. I wish there was a way to select all the dives and combine them if they all happened within minutes of each other.

FIT File Tools won't work for dives. Tried it.

You might be able to use FIT File Tools (https://www.fitfiletools.com/) to do this by exporting the dives as FIT files from Garmin Connect Web, then combining them using the tool, and then re-uploading on Garmin Connect Web (Import option on Activities screen). Please note: I've done this with other activity types but never tried with dives specifically, so YMMV.

You might want to increase the End Dive Delay setting as well.
