Uploaded dive not showing in Garmin Dive?

I uploaded a Dive activity (FIT file) via Connect Web.

It displays fine on Connect Web interface, as well as showing up on Connect Android.

It does not, however, appear in the Garmin Dive app.

When attempting to open the Dive, Garmin Dive app responds with:
"No Data Available - This data is no longer available"

Alright, so Garmin Dive is a little more picky than Connect when it comes to the format of the FIT file.

In my case, the lap message was missing the MessageIndex field.

Alright, so the original file when uploaded to Web Connect transfers over to Garmin Dive fine, but an edited file does not, even if the Sport and SubSport is set to Diving and Single Gas. What am I missing to get Garmin Dive to recognise the activity??
