Cant log into Garmin Connect in IE but can in Chrome. Any thoughts?

I can log into connect in Chrome but not in IE . I am using exact same user name e mail and password.
I have allowed Garmin connect (and other garmin sites) through pop up blocker, even disabled pop up blocker in IE but still cant log in.
I've logged out of Connect in chrome and then tried to log in on IE but no joy.

I want to use IE rather than Chrome as apparently Garmin no longer works with chrome...erm...but it does seem to ...anyway I am confused...and am guessing it's something to do with IE settings, or is this a known issue?

P.s.
Im wondering if this thing is actually logging in but Garmin just keep throwing back the log in box instead of allowing e to progress to the dashboard????
The log in works ok for this forum in IE with same user name and password as connect.

It would help to know what version of IE are you using?

There is a vast difference between IE6 and IE9.

GC works fine with Chrome. I haven't tried with IE, are you sure it isn't IE that GC doesn't work with?

Windows 8.1 + IE works fine for me with Garmin Connect. As does Chrome.

Trying clearing all your cookies etc. Revert IE ( whatever version that you are using, which you won't say ) to its default settings.

I use the most recent version of Chrome and I have Windows 10 (and it worked on Windows 8 and 8.1) and Garmin Connects works fine. Also works fine on my Mac with Safari or Chrome.

Clear your cookies and history and try again. Sounds like your browser is causing the issue.
