I first tried to access the data from today's ride directly on my Edge Touring Plus device. This wasn't possible. When I tapped to open the saved ride, the device just showed me the loading icon on screen and looped in this state until I manually restarted the device. Tried this multiple times, with the same result.
I checked with another saved ride from earlier this week and that opened no problem.
Not surprisingly, the problematic ride data wouldn't sync automatically to Garmin Connect either, so I copied the .fit file from the device onto my desktop and expected to be able to upload to Connect from there.
I then chose the .fit file from my desktop and clicked "Upload activities from file" and see that it starts uploading, however it gets nowhere with this and just stays in the "Uploading..." status.
Is something wrong with my (almost brand new) device or do you think I might have made a mistake which has corrupted the ride data?
