Hi,

after syncing, all runs into Endomondo it has ascent/descent totally off (compared to what i see in Connect).
Connect data are actually correct since i know the route yet endomondo has it bad.
When tracking the same route with Endomondo app on my android phone it is fine.

any ideas?

thanks,
Boris

    Me too

I'd love an answer to that myself! I can't seem to find a pattern to the discrepancies either.. I'm using a forerunner 225 too..

I have the same problem, but I think this is the wrong forum the problem is not the export form Garmin (this data has all needed elevation tags) it's the import in Endomondo.

    reason:
The exported data from Garmin (elevation tags are there), import to Endomondo (ascending/descending will not shown), when I export this workout now from Endomondo I cann see the elevation tags are still there.

    my conclusion:
Endomondo identifies only the min/max elevation but doesn't calculate the ascending/descending elevation from imported files.

    Endomondo feedback

    Hi guys,

thanks for feedback. i got in touch with Endomondo. This is their answer:
"We are aware that the ascent calculation can be inaccurate since we use a GPS based calculation method and it is possible that other apps use a filter to display the data or track your workout with a barometer. We are working on improving all our features and hope to be able to improve this one in the future.
