Why does the Normalized Power report "no data for this time period" when I have data?

I'm trying to use the Normalized Power report. When I set the time period for 7 days or 4 weeks I get the error message saying "no data for this time period". When I open the time period up to 6 months I get a chart showing normalized power results from April and May but nothing for August or September (I wasn't using my Powertap wheel in June and July).

When I go into the actual activities I can see the power data has been recorded.

What gives?

I am having the same problem. Despite all my rides are with power, the Normalized Power report stops at Feb 2017. It there a way to update the report? I am using two power meters...maybe the data shown refers to only one of them? Any way to show the other one as well?
any garmin guys that can help out with this issue?

I was having a problem where if I edited the activity e.g. changed title or activity type, the Normalized Power data point for that activity would disappear from the widget on GC dashboard and the underlying linked report.

This bug has been fixed.

However, there is still an issue with the Training Effect widget which only points to running data, so continues to say "You have no data for this time period." for me.

@Pewaukee_Ironman and @leandro76 - Although the bug has been fixed, to get historical data it is necessary to go into each activity, open for editing, and then save it, and wait for the data to percolate through to the report. I have done this for a few representative activities but it is very time-consuming.
