Garmin Connect reporting that I've taken 3 million steps today.

My device - Vivosmart - is currently reporting 4505. The step details view is supporting this total but my step total for the day is 3 million+. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

There is another thread on this topic from people who had 4 million steps in a day. You should refer to that thread. It appears to be coming from the cadence sensor linking up to the vs. It seems to have started with 3.50 firmware.

A bug has been reported to Garmin.

Thanks, I see it now that I'm home & surfing on a big screen - a bit hard navigating this site on a mobile. Perhaps one of the mods will be kind enough to merge/move this thread to there.

Garmin Connect = 1.713.523 steps vs Vivosmart 10.908 steps

I did not walk 1.713.523 steps today!
My Vivosmart shows 10.908. How do I delete this "false" information?
I did go for a bike ride trying to use my Garmin Bike Speed. Perhaps this is why?

Th cadence sensor seems to be the common thread leading to this happening.
