Adding Manual Swimming Lap Splits?

So went for a swim at the pool and came to garmin connect to enter my lap splits, plus overall time. Guess I can't do that, huh? The ability to see recorded laps is a crucial tool for training. And not everyone has a special watch which does this for them, so the manual split edit needs to be implemented.
