Unable to create a course in Connect with Windows 10

Hi :) Anybody else having problems with creating a course in Windows 10? I recently had to bite the bullet and buy a new laptop, the old one had slowed to a snail's pace. The new one came with Windows 10. All seems fine with Connect until I get to creating a new course, at which point the page opens but says 'loading' and never gets past that point. If I try and edit an old course I get the same result. If I go back to my old laptop and log into Connect I have no problems, it just takes a little while to get going but that's better than not going at all! The old laptop has Windows 7. I'm no 'techy' but it would seem to me, therefore, that the problem lies somewhere within Windows 10. I'm assuming that the maps are within the Connect database but just in case I've connected my Edge 1000 to the laptop via USB and that makes no difference so I'm back to thinking this is a Windows 10 issue. Any thoughts would be much appreciated :) Meanwhile I shall return to my dinosaur of a laptop and good old Windows 7! Both old and tired but faithful and working! :D

    Partial solution

I have discovered a partial solution to the problem! Posting it here so anyone with a similar problem will hope fully find it and it will work for them. If I open connect with the Windows 10 internet option, called Windows Edge, so there's a possibility for confusion straight away, in the top right hand corner are 3 horizontal dots, clicking on those gives more options. One of the options is 'open the page in Internet Explorer', click on that. Now a page appears that I'm more familiar with, I think Internet Explorer was what I had with Windows 7. If I remember correctly at that point I was still unable to create a course but then I clicked on tools at the top of the page and selected delete browsing history, this was a Garmin solution to a problem I'd previously had with Connect. Hey presto! Now able to create and edit courses albeit in the old version of Windows internet access but does that matter?! You'll probably still have the Windows 10 Edge page running in the background so you may want to minimise your new page and close that old page if internet speed is a problem. I've not tried that but will do next time. Now I just need to solve the problems I have with Windows 10 email but that's another story! Anyway, I hope that all makes sense and is of use to someone. Happy cycling/running/ whatever is your thing! :)

    Slight change

Have just checked my solution again and am just adding another step which I'd missed out earlier and may not be obvious and in my joy of having solved the problem I hadn't remembered. When I first select 'open page in Internet Explorer' I'm presented with a page of 'gobbledygook'. In the top right hand corner is the option to sign in. Select and sin in as normal and then you should be presented with your Connect home page from where everything works as advertised. As I said before, if you are having problems, e.g. a blank Connect page it's worth selecting 'tools' on the Internet Explorer task bar and from that select 'delete browsing history'. That's all folks! Good luck! :)

I am trying also to create a new course but the page comes up blank. I tried your trick of the 3 dots but even that did not work. I tried in Firefox, IE11, MS edge all with the exact same result. I even tried in iOS with no luck. Website (and mobile) Courses page not functioning at all.

Today when using Garmin Connect on my iPhone 7+ I am able to view my old courses and create new courses just not create a new course of my own. Each time I try to create a new course Connect picks the course for me and I am unable to change it. This is frustrating. I used to be able to create my own course by picking the starting point and each follow on point until I had a route all picked out. Now I can choose the starting point and put in the distance I want to go but I can not chose my path.
