New Activity Type - Scuba Diving

Would be nice to have the possibility to insert manually a scuba diving activity with some customized fields like depth, time, temperature, location, buddy in order to have an online log book readable every where.
I do scuba diving at least twice a week, at the moment I register them under "Open water swimming" but having a custom activity would be better of course ;)

What dive computer are you using - If a Suunto then you should be able to use Suunto's application which gives you all the relevant data you need pulled direct from the Computerincluding dive profile, bottom time, rates of descent and ascent, temperature during dive etc. Until Garmin start making Dive computers not sure that its reasonable to expect them to support those types of features - they are having trouble supporting the sorts of features needed for the devices that they do make :)

I'm using a simple Scubapro Uwatec 330M bottom timer that does all what I need underwater (timer, depth, medium depth and temperature). I do not want to have a full dive profile to be downloaded, just a custom activity to be inserted manually where I store all the other sport activities in order to have all togheter (I currently write all my dives manually in a excel sheet and in a Moleskine notebook). In GC I see customized activities like SUP, Skydiving or Wingsuit... why not Scuba Diving? :)

Ok just don't see much point when connect is aimed at garmin devices if you are not using a garmin device for any aspect surely you would be better with a generic piece of software rather than a proprietary website from a supplier that specialises in sports GPS
