Can only manually sync MyFitnessPal calories into Garmin (not automatically)

I have a quick question. I have MFP linked to Garmin Connect (my Garmin Connect is also linked to my VivoActive device and Strava account).

Garmin is syncing activity to MFP automatically, but my MFP calories do not automatically sync to Garmin - I have to go through manually each day and click Sync with MyFitnessPal in the calories widget in Garmin Connect.

Is this behaviour by design or is there a way to get MFP calories automatically syncing INTO Garmin?

Having the same problem.. what is solution for thism?

Have opposite problem, Garmin sees calories from food, but MFP sees only some of the extracalories eacrned from excercise
