Step count sync from Fenix 3

Hi guys, got an issue with my step count syncing to GC on the Fenix 3, can anyone help?

On GC I have 3411 steps shown but in the history section for the same day (Friday the 14th) it shows 14879. In the step section on GC for this day there is a symbol that says 'Looks like you changed time zones. Your charts will make more sense tomorrow.' Unfortunately I was working on Friday and not jetsetting round the world. Any help getting this up to date? It's pretty frustrating because I should be on a 140 day streak of meeting my target but this is messing it up (Sad, I know, but whatever gets us moving!)

I am experiencing the same. When I go to watch settings in Garmin Connect it is set to "activity tracker". However when I want to sync this setting via Garmin Express it says: "this watch isn't set as an activitytracker. Go to Garmin Connect". So I'm stuck....

Hi, I've had another step-count issue with my fenix 3 for two weeks (SW: 4.40), synced just now (having done approx 10,000 steps a day throughout the week) and it's only syncing some days and some of tem have completely wrong step count (100-400)? When syncing over Wi-Fi the fenix 3 says "Syncing complete. (1 file failed)". Any advice?

Sorry guys. No solution - similar problem.

Get the message that the device isn't set as an activity tracker, but that's not correct. Latest software is loaded. I did download some watch faces - not sure whether that could have caused the issue?

Please post if you find a solution.

What does Garmin's technical solutions guys have to say - can they resolve the issue?

missing step data

Having the exact same problem, can see steps everyday in my history and what appear to be successful syncs via USB, bug GC doesn't show all of the data. Interesting enough my activities came across for some of those days.
