Are you sure you're connected to the internet? Do you use wifi to connect to the internet or do you have a data plan? The reason I ask is that texts come via the cell network and don't really need a data connection but syncing does.
If you go to a browser on your phone, do you get web pages or errors?

I get the message only when I am trying to set weight goal. It has always been there and disappeared about a month ago. Every time I try to add it it says network error in red. It does let me change my weight, just not the goal.
I get a network connection error ALL the time for pretty much everything. The app is completely useless to me and I can only access my data via the website :( I have the latest firmware and I got a brand new vivosmart just a couple of days ago.
I never get a network error unless I'm not connected to the internet. Then I would expect to see an error. Since you're new to posting the forum, let me ask you a few questions.
What kind of phone do you have? Did you pair with the pp rather than your phone? Is it always connected by wifi or a data connection? Do you get your notifications?
