i am trying to understand how the Calendar - Workout - Activity relationship works, i have created a couple of custom Workouts in the Garmin Connect WEB-APP and i have scheduled these workouts in my Garmin Calendar. Before starting my training i select the workout (from My WorkOut) from my Fenix 2 and upon completion i save the data.
When i sync the Watch data with the APP i see that the systems auto-generates custom Activities (with a weird name, i believe based on the GPS location) and it saves them into my Calendar as an "additional" entry (with all the stats: Heart Beat, Speed, etc.) below the one i have scheduled before, leaving my scheduled empty (without stats)...is it normal?
Moreover is there a way to decide what kind of data i want to save or decide which sensors i would like to use during my training? i.e. if i am training in a "stationary" location, is there a way to disable the GPS and not gathering the "MAP" information so that it is not shown in the Activity/Calendar summary details?
