Customising measurement units

Is it possible to be able to customise the unit measurements thats are displayed. I can only find uk, metric and statute. ideally i would like things like speed displayed in MPH distance in miles but weight in KG. as an example. But i can currently only set all so if i have speed and distance in Miles and MPH i have to have Lbs as the weight units. If anyone knows if this is possible i would be grateful.
  • What you've already found is all you get. I have trouble understanding why they won't show speed in furlongs per fortnight! <grin>

Agree with the request. Its a UK thing :) we use a mixture of Metric and Statute. Please allow each unit to be set independently. Speed, distance and weight. I also use Miles for speed and distance and KG for weight.

Agreed. I'm used to working out body measurements (BMI) in metric, but still use statute miles for distance, and feet for altitude. And can't think in Fahrenheit anymore. I can customize all of these correctly on my Garmin watch and on the iOS connect application, but for some reason its not possible to do so on the PC based web page for Garmin connect. So just adding my voice - Please Garmin make each parameter individually customizable.
  • How did you manage to customise on the watch and iOS app? I can’t even get that sorted.

  • I personally have the following:

    Temperature Celcius

    Distance Miles

    Weight Pounds

All of that is set in web Connect first, then GCM.

    My Vivoactive 3

For cycling, my FR910XT is set to display and record KMs. However, once it gets to web Connect, it's converted to miles.
