Multisport needs to be a single sport - can't figure out how to convert

Hello,

I went on a hike and my Garmin 910XT was set to cycling, so I simply switched the sport to running while the timer was on. I synced my watch and in Garmin Connect it is showing the activity as multisport (obviously). I went in and converted the initial segment to hiking and the second segment to hiking but alas it is still showing it as multisport with two separate segments. Another issue is it won't allow me to enable the elevation correction while in multisport.

Can anyone please help me:
- Convert this to a single activity?
- Enable elevation correction?

FYI I am aware of the altimeter in the watch but I have found it to be fairly inaccurate when I move between 8,000 - 14,000ft of elevation in a day (I am in Colorado) which is why I need the elevation correction.

Thank you,
Lucas

    combine and split activities

I am trying to do the same (i.e. combine two events which are part of the same activity). Additionally, i would like to split one event into two (or more) parts.

Reason being - i did a triathlon and the buttons on my garmin were pressed by mistake, forcing the next event too early.
