How to manually adjust / correct run results post run?

New owner of 920xt here. Hello!

Did my first long run with the 920 today, 28km part of which in a valley with known bad gps so I used a foot pod too.

However, my 920 recorded a couple of kms with a pace of under 3 mins per km (due i guess to losing gps and foot pod not kicking in?). Anyhow my real pace was closer to 6 mins per km and now im stuck with a silly fastest km metric.

How can i manually adjust this, and if i cannot do it myself how do i get garmin to manually adjust it?

Would appreciate your response!

  • In Connect on the web, slect the activity. It will open to a full page. In the upper right corner there's a pencil icon. Click it to edit the results.

Ah it must just be on the web version rather than the app.

I'm away in the mountains doing trail running, i'll check it out when i get back tomorrow. Hopefully you can edit individual laps and they will also update in strava automatically!
  • I also sync to Strava and it doesn't get updates automatically. Only the initial transfer.

On the website, I could edit the run and choose "best pace" overall which I changed to 5:45, however, the splits for my laps still show the erroneous data, e.g. a lap with a split of 2'37 per km.

I could also delete my personal best record for 1km in the personal records section of garmin connect.

Nevertheless, it still shows bad data and I automatically export to nike+ and strava which both show the bad data and give me the records too.

Basically, I am an old nike+ user and dont want to have these records there. I can just delete the run I suppose but thats 28km lost which would be unfortunate.

So it begs the question, what did my edit of fastest pace actually do, if anything at all?
