Forerunner 225 and iOS - Not syncing Steps via Bluetooth

Since updates loaded on August 6 (iOS Garmin Connect 2.13 and Forerunner 225 2.13) my watch is not syncing Steps via Bluetooth.

I have powered off and restarted both the phone and watch, and unpaired/re-paired the devices.

Steps sync if plugged into Garmin Express on my Mac.

Anyone else having the same problem? Any resolutions?

    I thought I was the only one having that issue!

    I'm running Garmin Connect version 2.12.23 on an iPhone 5C, iOS 8.3, and this has been really bugging me for the past few days as well.

    Apparently according to this: https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/status - there seems to be an issue with MFP, though I have no idea whether that's relevant to iOS sync or not.

    Their suggestion after a few questions back and forth:

    The recent v2.13 update to Connect Mobile for iOS has created a number of issues for existing users who have updated from a previous app version.


    Please follow the steps below to see if they will resolve the issue:


    Unpair all devices in the app and in the iOS Bluetooth settings
    Uninstall the app
    Perform a cache clear on the phone (press and hold the Power and Home buttons until the screen turns black and an Apple logo appears)
    Reinstall the app from the Apple App Store
    Pair the device in the app again

    This fixed the Forerunner 235 steps not syncing issue!
