Garmin connect and MAC.

Hi all,

Just got my Edge 510 and its awesome.

But i want to be able to sync it to my Mac, osx 10.6.8.

Now yes i know that if i want the latest version I have to update my os. But I am not willing to do that. So has anyone got a work around so I can upload my files and courses and what not.

Thanks for your time.
  • Pretty simple. When you plug the 510 into your computer using the USB cable, it will show up on your Desktop as a disk named "GARMIN". Go to Garmin Connect, click on the word "Activities" in the activities panel, and on the right of the page that you get you'll see the word "Import". Click on it, and then "Choose File", and navigate to the "Activities" folder inside the "Garmin" folder in your "GARMIN" disk. You'll see all of the activities that are on your 510, and you can select the one you want to upload.

Or you can upgrade your OS, install Garmin Express, and have it all done automatically.
