Garmin Edge 510 + iOS 8.4 / Garmin Connect 2.13

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.4 and updated the Garmin Connect app about 2 days ago. Since then I cant sync via the iPhone. Sync would get to about 1/3 progess, the 510 would freeze and crash. The app will show successfully sync'd, when in fact no activities was sync'd. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app, restarted the phone. Still the same issue. Syncing in the previous version of the app worked most time, not brilliant, but this update seems to be the worst of the lot.

Anyone else having a similar experience?

I have the exact same configuration and same problem
  • Issues with IOS and 510

The iphone auto-updated Garmin connect to the latest version, now no longer will synch to my 510. Sometimes it shows synch complete, but new rides on my GPS are not on connect. tried uninstall and reinstall app on iphone, no behavior change. Sometimes it shows sync failed as well -- but either way, no data is transferred.

Same problem with garmin connect version 2.13.1

After I updated to ios 8.4 on my Iphone6 I cannot sync rides with my Garmin Edge 510. The Garmin app might have been updated as well (don't know since it's auto updated), but everything was running smoothly before 8.4.
In the app the sync looks to start ok (but a bit too soon compared to before) with the blue bannes at the bottom of the screen, but then the banner turns green very quickly and says "sync complete". But nothing is transferred. On the Edge it says "sync failed" a little while after the green banner disappear.
I have restarting the blutooth-connection several times.
It looks like Garmin released a new app update (2.13.1) yesterday, but I still have the same problem.:(

    My latest sync report says

I'm seeing problems too. Can't send any workouts from GCM on iPhone to my Edge 510. Looks like it syncs but no workouts show up on the device.

Sync ok after Edge software update

My Edge 510 is syncing with my iPhone Garmin connect app after I updated the software on the Edge.
So if you have problems syncing you should try that.

Yes - since updating the Garmin Connect SW on my iPhone and the 510 SW last week it will not synch. I says synching and the progress line starts barely on the phone and then it stays like that forever, nothing shows up. It does indeed show up when I try to synch the next activity. So now all activities are updated with one activities' delay which is really annoying since I cannot see what I just did. Seems like a > vs >= logic failure in the programming.
  • Not just 510

This is not just a 510 problem, I have a 810 with exactly the same issue.
