Apologies if this is the wrong sub forum but I can't find a vehicle one.
There appears to be a design flaw with the Garmin Nuvi 2440 gps. When the unit is plugged and powered through the 12v in the veichle he screen automatically dims, when it's not powered the screen then goes really bright. Surely this should be the other way around to save on juice when not being powered? I've played about with settings and can't get as bright at all when plugged in to when not.
Is there anyway to fix this?
