In Europe we don't use Pace (time/km) but Speed (km/hour).
We do. Pace is the standard at running, walking, or swimming, and similar activities. Speed is the standard at cycling. However, you can see…
I want to see my speed in running.

I don't know this, but I would guess that less than 1…
What is this for Americain ignorance? They want to sell their products in Europe but we in Europe have to do it with Americain settings.

These requests are still here after 5 years.
For everybody: change activity to cycling. Stupid but true. Than you see your speed in km/hr.
In Europe we don't use Pace (time/km) but Speed (km/hour).
We do. Pace is the standard at running, walking, or swimming, and similar activities. Speed is the standard at cycling. However, you can see both the pace and speed, in Garmin Connect Web, and in Garmin Connect Mobile as well, anyway. Just the graph uses the standard mode for each respective acitivty type. If you want to see the spped graph instead of pace, change temporarily the type of the activity to Cycling.
So the 'solution' is disturb my activity logs by changing running into cycling.
Thats not what I call a solution, thats a workaround.
And I don't want to see it temporarily. I want to see my speed in running.
And not mess around in my activities.

I don't know this, but I would guess that less than 1% of runners, including those in Europe, use speed rather than pace. So the chances of getting this added are slim. Another option (yes, it's another workaround ) is to download your activities as a CSV file and create your own formula to automatically see speed.
It might be fun to see the speed but not very useful in the training. I suggest that you create a userscript in the browser that calculates the values when viewing an activity since I don't believe that Garmin will add this. It isn't used by most runners as I know of. I'm from Sweden btw. It might be something for beginning runners because it could seem a bit odd in the start to measure in min/km.
In your watch you can display speed instead of pace while you are running, but I guess you already know that.
When I'm paddling kayak I have a hard time choosing whether I should use speed or pace. I like to use speed of some reason, but I'm paddling in the same speed or slower than a runner so I think pace is the better choice. Pace also tells me more than speed. It is a lot easier to calculate the time for longer distances from pace than speed.
