Copying steps in Garmin Connect workouts?

My current training plan has a lot of variation in its track workouts. I find it very time consuming to build these in Connect... is there a way to copy steps? That way if I have similar steps, it's just copy/paste/modify, as opposed to building each step from scratch. I'm thinking if I could figure this out I could cut down my workout building time by at least 75%. Is this possible?
  • Isn't the beta just a design update? I don't think it's about new features or fixes.

  • Yeah, it seems so. There's no such a feature in the new Connect version (Beta). It's a real shame, honestly saying, I don't care about the changes in the layout, it would be far more exciting if they updated the functionalities. When I changed from Bryton to Garmin I was expecting a far more refined user hub, bearing in mind Garmin's sales figures. Even the new beta looks and feels somehow outdated. But not addressing such a feature as mentioned in the topic for such a long time is really flabbergasting, as it seems very simple from programming point of view. Actually, not only would I expect Garmin to include the copy option, but  I would believe the new Connect should introduce a graphical, drag-and-drop training planner, similar to the one in Zwift. That would make planning far easier & more accessible.
