Garmin gps 4012 question

Dear friends,

I just bought a small boat wich is equipped with a Garmin gps map 4012

My problem is that the depth is dispayed to feets which is not convinient to me since i m used to the metric system...

Does anyone know how i can switch Ft to meter?
