Ultratrac - Garmin Connect way off on Elevation Gain and Calories

I just finished 6 days of backpacking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire tracking the entire trip with my Garmin Fenix 2 in Ultratrac mode (30 second intervals).

During each day's hike, my watch properly showed elevation gain and drop, but yet Garmin Connect is now showing a number that's not even close to accurate - 407 feet of elevation gain for a hike that had about 4000 feet of elevation gain and ended 1200 feet higher than it began. The calories also seem way off - 466 calories for a 13.73 mile hike with a lot of elevation changes is definitely not close.

The hike in question is at Garmin Connect at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/824849566

Any ideas why the Garmin Connect data is so far off? Is there a way to fix this (or another site to load the .fit files to that can properly show the true results?)

Thanks in advance for any help!
