Garmin nuvi 2995 keeps rebooting after starting the car

I updated nuvi 2995 three months ago and it is rebooting in 50% situations when car starts.
Before that update I had nuvi updated around year ago and rebooting happened in 20% cases.

I keep SatNav connected via USB cabel all the time and when I stop the car and start again then SatNav reboots.

I was hoping that it is recent issue but it seems that latest firmware update doesn't resolve it and it happened quite long time agi - eg https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?72222-Garmin-Nuvi-2595-keeps-restarting-into-usb-mode.

I'm using provided cable having traffic receiver. I've seen that faulty cable may cause that but how can I check that without new cable? Can I check voltage on cable output or car charger to check if it correct?

Current version of firmware is 8.20.
I'm doing reset and hope it helps.
