910XT gone dead

Hi, my 910xt which I've had for a couple of years now and use regularly has just gone dead and will not show any signs of life when I press the power button on or put it on charge.
So far I've left the charger on for a couple of days, no luck. Clean the connectors, no luck.
Anyone had this problem? What are my options?
Cheers

The other thing I forgot to mention, when I left it on charge the watch became hot
  • If you don't get any solutions here then Garmin has a flat rate repair for devices that are out of warranty. Typically I think they send you a re-furbished unit.

IMO.... questions about devices are best ask in the sub-forum for your device. Many of the KNOWLEDGEABLE active users seldom post here in this sub-forum and I assume they seldom browse posts here. As this sub-forum is for the Garmin Connect WEBSITE which many of them don't use.

You can still call Garmin Support and get help from them for free even though your device is out of warranty.
