A couple days ago I changed my weight loss goal in MFP to be a little less aggressive. So, my daily calorie goal went from about 1240 to 1700. The calories consumed on MFP are syncing with the Connect App and online desktop, but the calorie goal won't change. My calories remaining are still being based on the 1240 calorie diet. I've disconnected, synced, uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing is working. The goal calories show correctly on MFP so I think the problem is on the Garmin side. Any ideas on how to get Connect to pick up the change?
Same problem here ... it's been nearly two years since the original post.Huh? The original post by KteCz77 was made on 1‑July 2015 (which may well be showing as 30‑June 2015 in your local time zone), which was 361 days ago. That's less than one year ago.
I know this is an old topic, but I have the same issue. I changed my calorie goal from 1914 to 1794 in My Fitness Pal, but it doesn't change in my Garmin Connect app (I've got a vivoactive 3). I already deleted the cache, reinstalled the app & restarted my phone but it still shows my old calorie goal. How can I fix this?
I seemed to have figured this one out. After changing my goal in MFP I went to Garmin Connect, chose the Calories In/Out which shows up on my home screen. from there I selected the Log In to MFP option. Once in MFP I selected more at the bottom right of the app (three dots). I then selected the sync option at the bottom. Then I went back to Garmin Connect and selected the sync option at the very top right. Then went back in to the calories in/out on home screen and it was updated.
