Gamin 810 activities not showing as correct activity in connect

Hi all,

I have a brand new 810. I have updated Garmin 810 to latest firmware (v3.60).
I have only 1 activityprofile called MTB. In MTB I have selected Navigation/Route guidence/ Select activity=Mountainbiken

Why when I do a ride and click on safe, it shows in connect as BIKING?? I have to manual select each course, click edit and change it there also to mountainbiking?

This is really annoying. Maybe I didn't use the correct keywords, but I couldn't find anything related on google or these forums?
I assume that these activity's are there to make life easier so you create profiles and when you do one it shows up correctly.

Can someone help me out. Or can Garmin correct there software so it works fine (if it's a bug or something). I don't know if other people also have this problem, if so please step forward.

Strange that nobody is replying? I cannot believe that with all others this works flawless?!

For the most part, garmin treats this as a user to user help forum. If no one replied it's because no one thought they had anything to say to help you.

I don't use Garmin connect anymore, but it may just be that the selection in your bike profile on the device doesn't get uploaded or if it is, garmin connect does not use that info. Or Garmin Connect has another "issue".

So if you think it's not as it should be... then Garmin Support is who you should be contacting.
