Heart Rate monitor keeps disconnecting - VivoActive

Hi, I have seen a few issues with the HR monitor that comes with the Vivo Active, but none help.

I have two issues.

1. It connects, and then shows my heart rate as 60 while I am running up a hill. It changes to 59 when I slow down. Given my heart rate gets up to about 155, this is clearly not accurate.

2. It keeps disconnecting. When I put the band on, it shows it is connected. I go to the HR app and it is there. Then boom, it is gone. If I lift the strap off my skin and put it back, it reappears. And then it is gone again.

I've been able to get it working a couple of times. Sometimes this is halfway through a run and it suddenly decides to work and show the right training zone. More often it is either showing problem 1, or connecting and disconnecting.

As this was the primary reason I bought it, obviously I can't keep on like this as it's not doing what it promises.

I've tried all the troubleshooting, but as it works occasionally (it worked on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday it started working half way through. Thursday until Saturday, showing a heartbeat of 60-odd throughout the workout.

Is it the band? Does this happen if the battery starts to drain? Seems odd that it reconnects when I lift it off my skin slightly and put it back, but only for a few seconds and then it disappears again.

Strap points are wet. It is tight. I am female so it is just below my bra. Have tried putting it lower, doesn't work. It is the correct way up, latch at right side, arrow pointing up. Nothing changes with this each time I use it. It is as tight as I can get it (have tried a little looser as well).

Any suggestions appreciated.
