Active Calories Gone Insane

So my active calories have a bit of a problem today...

My watch itself shows a more reasonable number. Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix it?

I had a very similar problem. I did report it to support but didn't get much interest. The steps that went missing never appeared but the problem has not occurred again.
