Garmin Swim won't sync anymore after changing battery

Hi,
About two weeks ago I changed battery and since they, no data transfer is being made.
I tried removing Garmin Express, removing Device, re-pair, boot computer and I keep getting "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect" message on garmin express
I tried another computer, no change

My computer id Win 8.1 and the second I tried is Win7

Any ideas?

resetting the watch to the factory defaults solved the problem
