My Garmin edge 800 powers up, I see a screen saying loading maps, then it dies and th epower goes off. The unit is fully charged.
Because of endless issues getting it to upload activities to connect /express I finally decided to re set it to it's factory defaults. The Garmin edge 800 was powering up before I did this. Prior to resetting th eunit I removed the SD card to protect the saved activities. I then restored the unit to factory defaults and reset up th eunit how i like it. Then I reinstalled the sd card. Now it just laughs at me and switches itself off. So, Garmin, I'm a few hundred quid down with no working Edge 800 unit and endless problems with your user unfreindly software..again..still...like forever.......
..I hav econtacted support but it'll take them thier standard week to even look at the message..anyone on here have any ideas how to fix this ?? Thanks.
