Now nothing works on the connect website.

    Gives up to date status normally. Modern is certainly working.

    Edit: Just checked. Classic is working too
  • It must not be you but it is definetely me

    I am very near to returning a brand new VivoActive because of dissatisfaction with the service.

    It takes minutes to initialize Garmin Express, after selecting the VA it shows "You have Items Ready to Install", pressing "Install" brings up a running bar "Syncing", after a minute or so the error message "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect" and Garmin Express states (is a lie) "Synced Today @ ...."

    A packet trace shows that Garmin Express tries to communicate with IP address 23.42.17.77 (omt.garmin.com,wildcard.garmin.com.edgekey.net,connectapi.garmin.com,e3664.b.akamaiedge.net) and there are indications that there is a communication problem.

    It is very well possible that from YOUR location everything looks normal, but from MY location (Europe, Germany) I have had problems since yesterday (first day of use) and today have not yet had a successful connection for several hours.
  • If Express is causing you issues please raise the problem in the Express forum. There are Garmin staff there who can help.
