Will Garmin Connect still support uploading via Communicator? Using an Edge 305 that is not recognized by Garmin Express. I am only able to use the old Garmin Connect.
NPAPI plug ins are being withdrawn from all browsers in due course, Chrome has already stopped using them, so in due course you will not be able to use the Garmin Communicator Plug-in.
Yes this is a real pain - the withdrawal of NPAPI affects lots of things including the streaming video offered by many sites such as Eurosport, Sky etc.Internet Explorer and Firefox still support this and I think it will hang around in some browsers for a while to come. To retain use you would need to select a browser for this use only and freeze it in time so that it didn't update any more. That would probably buy you time for a while after NPAPI is discontinued.
