CAN'T RESET GARMIN eTrex30!!!!

On my Garmin eTrex 30 I need to reset twice to clear timers waypoints and current track. After reseting first time everything reads zero/blank/no data OK then as soon as I start moving it all jumps back to the previous readings. Is this normal or has my kit got a fault?
  • Before you do a reset ensure you have a satellite lock, otherwise the reset won't work properly.
