Garmin Connect won't launch

I see a few people have this problem, but I still haven't found a solution.

I can sync my workouts with Training Center, but Garmin Connect won't launch to sync. When I launch Garmin Connect manually I get an error message. I uninstalled Garmin Connect and reinstalled it, and it worked, only to fail on the next workout. I did the same uninstall and reinstall and it worked, only to fail on the next workout. Now, even the uninstall and install doesn't work.

I have a Forerunner 305 if that helps

What is up with this? Such a frustrating issue to deal with. Seriously thinking of going with another route at this stage.

    I am having issues transferring my activities to Garmin Connect as well. I just bought a Forerunner 220 and for the first four runs, everything transferred exactly as it should. Now, for the last two, I am having to manually transfer the data which clearly doesn't capture all of the details. Is there some reason for this? Why would it just stop working after a few times? Frustrating to say the least after spending so much money on this thing.
  • For me, Express works as it should. Yesterday, however, it wouldn't. I rebooted my computer and everything was back to normal. I also like to have express open with the device I am about to sync showing.

    Normally Express would launch once the forerunner was plugged in. Now it won't. And physically opening the program just gives a failure message and to contact support - of which there is none. Not impressed with Garmin. This is just one of many frustrations with them.

    Rebooting won't work. I've done that enough already.

    if enough people are having this issue why not issue a patch? Garmin is failing on this one.
  • If you have an issue using Express please use the Express forum. There are Garmin staff active there to give support. This forum is mainly user to user.
