Thinking of getting a 64st...

...having had my 62st for a while.

But I'm a bit concerned about the spec. for the 64st: It seems the battery life is only 16 hours, whereas the 62st is 20 hours - although mine does seem to use a pair of AA batteries each day of use.

Also, can I use the maps from my 62st with the new device, or do I have to buy them again?

Well, I got it anyway, but after a struggle!

I was 'dazzled' by the Satmap Active 12's screen and bought one instead of the 64st, but took it back yesterday and replaced it with the 64st, after all.

Satmap rhymes with a single-syllable, 4-lettered word which describes it's quality to a T. And the xpedition application software is AWFUL.

Still, Garmin isn't perfect.., yet!
