Map track in wrong location, and other problems

On my run today, my watch (Forerunner 610) found the satellites fairly quickly (quicker than normal, actually), and seemed to be working just fine, but less than half a mile into it, it started to randomly auto pause and resume. When I synced to GC when I got back, the map was all over the place, and about 5 miles away from where I actually was. When I synced GC to my runkeeper account, I was able to change the trace, and found that my run was roughly 1/4 mile longer than what Garmin was showing. This may be due to the frequent pausing, but who knows.

Any thoughts on what I should do to correct this?
