connecting my new forerunner 610 and only charging

hello,
i just got my new forerunner 610, opend it, charged and then plugged it to my laptop.

the watch seems to be charging but nothing else happens.
the laptop doesnt announce nothing.
i installed garmin express and press on "add device", still nothing happend. no device was found.

tried the same things on another computer and SAME PROBLEM..

what else can i do??

The 610 doesn't communicate via USB it uses the ant stick. You need to plug that in following the instructions in the manual to make sure that you have the right drivers installed. Once you have the ant stick connected then you should be able to find the 610 and pair with it so that you can upload files to connect.

Where are the instructions for the drivers to connect to the Ant stick ? I connected Ant stick to my computer but can not detect my 610 still. Please place the steps if you have here.

Also my battery drains really fast, I mean from 100% to 50% in two minutes. What should I be doing ?
