Strava and Garmin - Sync Issues

My issue is as the title says! I can get my Garmin to Sync with Garmin Express no issues at all, in fact by the time I have opened Connect my activity is already there. So by default I know the ANT stick works and I know my watch works. But for what ever reason I cannot get my Garmin or Garmin Connect to sync with Strava. I have tried intermediary tools like Tapiriik that are meant to connect your garmin account to strava but nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else had this issue?

is it a Garmin or Strava problem?

I was doing this no probs at all with my 305 so I know garmin talks to strava - just not with my 310!

Hope someone has a fix for this - at the moment I have a leg niggle so only riding the bike which mean recording strava on the phone is easy, but i'm hoping to be back and running again soon and I don't want to be bouncing my phone around with me!!

I think I have sorted it - certainly in a simple trial sat at my desk anyway!!
After a lot of hunting I found how to disconnect and reconnect my strava and garmin accounts! This was a little "wood for the trees issue". Incase anyone else has the same problem go to strava and then :

go to settings - under your little personal logo top right
under settings on the right hand side are all your "social connections" simply disconnect Garmin.
then go to upload activity in the normal way - select Device and link with Garmin accounts - this obviously reconnects the two accounts.

This "turn is off and back on" approach has worked for me! touch wood you too will be back and running again!!
