garmin help please

im not sure if this is the right section so sorry about that.
I have saved a friends ride off there garmin connect as a gpx file. on his ride at different times there was 2 smallish loops that I want to save as separate loops onto my garmin.
what site or software should I use to load the gpx file and alter the start/end down to the separate loops?

think I have sorted it, I loaded the gpx file in basecamp which came up as a track. I deleted the start and end points down to where I want to start and finish my ride. I then converted it to a route and sent to my garmin. the route is showing under courses and looks right so Ill give it a go tomorrow.
