You'd get your issue in front of people familiar with your device if you posted in the edge Touring sub-forum. Garmin's devices have plenty of similarities but there are also plenty of unique things about them too.

Some details would help too. Where are you getting the maps? are they pre-installed Garmin maps on the sd card? OSM maps that you got off the web? Are you downloading the maps from Garmin Connect and installing them with Garmin Express or Garmin MapUpdater? Etc....
