Workouts Layout

Hi guys,

I'm currently adding 60 Workouts to my garmin connect account. It deals with all types of runs like tempo runs, long runs, fast finish runs etc.

Just a suggestion that may improve the layout of the overview workouts page.

1. Users have the option of filtering the workouts based on the type of activity itself. Run, cycle, swim. Rather than have all activities in one area.
2. Users have the ability to create folders to filter each type of run into each specific folder. Tempo run folder, long run, run with speed play etc.
3. The created workout has more details on the title page. Instead of when it was created/edited it is more important for the user to know how long the run is or what intensities the runs are at.
4. Bunch the activities closer together to allow more workouts on one page. Perhaps give the user the option of how many they want displayed or how neatly compacted they want them displayed.
5. I'm not sure if this is possible but the ability to share or send your workout to other garmin users would also be helpful.

Thanks,
Kevin
  • It's CRAZY this hasn't been addressed yet... 6 years later after this feature request, Garmin still has not made search and filter functionality for structured workouts. Why is that?? I have such a long list of workout in Garmin Connect and while for all runs and bike workouts TrainingPeaks just syncs over, SWIMS DO NOT SYNC from TrainingPeaks to Garmin Connect, so 3 times a week I have to go into Garmin Connect, scroll down an unsorted list of hundreds of workouts to find the swim workout I am supposed to do today and then add it to my Training Calendar. WHY, GARMIN, HAVEN'T YOU MADE THIS EASIER??
