Trying to do this in Garmin Connect for my 220. What's wrong?

    Response from @Garmin:

@sscullion Sorry for the frustration, Simon. You're welcome to suggest a change using our Ideas Portal: bit.ly/GRMNIdeas. Thx! (KS)

I'm pointing out it's not a new feature rather a regression, and how the watch allows intervals <1 minute.

I too have also logged a support case.

    HI,
I have a 910XT, I have old workouts with <60sec activities, I can use them buy I can change them (so it's a new bug, functionality was there before)
As a workaround (a frustrating one when you are planing you next event and trying to create 16 weeks of workouts) I was able to create the workouts in Garmin connect with >60sec steps, transfer them to the watch, and then change the workouts from the watch, one by one, to the correct <60sec duration

yeah it would be a good workaround, but they also removed the "edit" option in the workouts for the garmin 920xt!!!

This is absolutely asinine. I have voiced my displeasure. I encourage anyone to start a support ticket. Maybe if they get enough they will remove heads from backsides and fix this 'feature'

Wow is this a MAJOR fail by Garmin. Totally screwed up my ability to plan and use the VERY expensive piece of crap I have now. Guess I have to go to the iPhone apps to create valuable workouts since Garmin can't get their act together.

annoying. They did that on purpose and now it's like they consider it an enhancement request... UFB. This would have been a dealbreaker for me before acquisition.

I logged a case as well, but looking your comments and the one's from others I'm rather pessimistic. It's like they don't understand what they did. So they broke something, on purpose, upset the people and they suggested you to submit an "idea". are you kidding? aren't you?

Same issue. BS. Fix your crappy site Garmin. trouble shooting ticket submitted as well.
  • Same on Fenix2. I have a running set of 20x400m but need 40 recovery per rep and it won't let me. It only allows me to go to 1 minute. How am I supposed to improve if I can't decrease my recovery times??? Why don't Garmin want us to get better. It's almost as if Garmin are saying 'you should have bought a Suunto/Polar?'

Stop employing Aldi and 7/11 convenient store tech engineers and get someone who is worth the money that we spend on these devices. Too many faults, too many bugs, for too large a cost. Stop playing at it Garmin and start working at it.
  • Still has not been fixed!!! Come on Garmin get it sorted!!!
