Trying to do this in Garmin Connect for my 220. What's wrong?
Following. I had an interval defined at 20 seconds before "modern" took over workout definitions, and when I went to edit it I see the error. So presumably it's an edit added under the "modern" UI? This is a cycling workout destined for an Edge 800 but I'm guessing it will do the same thing on my 220. I have a ton of workouts with sub-1 minute intervals and am at a loss.
Sam, Not sure what kind of problem you're having, but I've been able to create workouts that have less than 1 minute intervals without a problem. Sent the workout to both my 220 and 910XT
What exactly are you hitting when you try to set it up? -- Dave
On the modern interface setup a workout with 10min warmup, then 20 repeats of 1 min hard and 30 seconds easy. Select "Time" as my duration, enter ":30" into the text box and the error "Your ":30" value is not within permissible limits.". Try to save anyways but it refuses.
I type in, "00:20" and get a red error message stating invalid entry. The sending part is moot at this point for me, I can't even save the workout on GC. (Using OSX.)
Never mind. You're absolutely right. I just tried to create another one using <30 seconds and I get the same error. Gotta be a bug.
Does Garmin typically monitor this thread? They should hurry before we all kill ourselves doing 1 minute 500 watt intervals that are supposed to be 15 seconds... :)
Having the same issue. Can not create steps with duration less than 1:00 . Message is : Your "00:59" value is not within permissible limits. Please Garmin , check this out !!!! Best
I have the same issue. I just called Garmin support and they told me that this is a "feature" - that Garmin can no longer support less than 1 minute splits. When will Garmin fix this bug?
